BRIGHT STAR SEASON FEATURES THE MUSIC OF ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER

LA CROSSE, Wis.—"Surrender to the Music of the Night: The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber," is the next Bright Star Season event and will be held at the Viterbo College Fine Arts Center Main Theatre on Tuesday, Nov. 16 at 7:30 p.m.

Since his entrance onto the Broadway scene twenty years ago, Tony, Grammy and Academy-Award winning composer Andrew Lloyd Webber has brought to the stage a host of renowned musicals.

In "Surrender to the Music of the Night: The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber," British director Arlene Phillips (Starlight Express, Grease and Saturday Night Fever) has created a theatrical evening of music from Webber’s repertoire including songs and excerpts from: The Phantom of the Opera, Cats, Evita, Jesus Christ Superstar, Starlight Express, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Song and Dance, Requiem, Aspects of Love, Sunset Boulevard, Whistle Down the Wind, and more.

This performance of "The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber," sponsored by WXOW—TV19, is produced by Troika Entertainment which is now entering its twentieth year of touring musical theatre throughout North America, Europe, and Asia.
