VITERBO COLLEGE SHOW CHOIR TO PERFORM HALLOWEEN CONCERT
LA CROSSE, Wis.— "Music, Monsters, and Munchies" is the title of a Halloween show choir concert that will be held Saturday, Oct. 30, in the Viterbo College Fine Arts Center. Show times will be 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
The concert, presented by Platinum Edition, the Viterbo College show choir, is designed to provide entertainment for people of all ages.
"We’ll have a wide variety of music and costumes that evoke the spirit of Halloween," says Nancy Allen, a music department professor at Viterbo. "This promises to be a lot of fun."
The concert includes songs like "Monster Mash" and "Thriller" as well as music from Brahm Stoker’s "Dracula" and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s "Phantom of the Opera."
All seating is cabaret style, in which tables and chairs will be set up on the main stage to allow audience members more direct interaction with the performers. Refreshments will be provided at each table.
Tickets for "Music, Monsters, and Munchies" are $10 per person. Proceeds will support Platinum Edition and will be used for costumes, back-up music, choreography and travel funds for future programs.
Seats are still available. For ticket information, contact the Viterbo College Fine Arts Center Box Office at 608-796-3100.
