LA CROSSE, Wis. – Classics such as White Christmas, God Bless America, Puttin’ on the Ritz, and There’s No Business Like Show Business will be part of Irving Berlin’s I Love a Piano on Viterbo University’s Fine Arts Center Main Theatre Monday, March 17.

Irving Berlin’s I Love a Piano is a nostalgic musical journey spanning seven decades of American history as seen through the eyes of an icon in the field of music. Over 60 of Berlin’s enduring favorites are featured in a show that captures the spirit of America from the ragtime music of the early 20th century, through the swing music of the 20s and 30s, to the sentimental songs that inspired a nation through two world wars, to the innocent optimism of the 1950s.

This performance is sponsored by WXOW TV-19 and by a grant from the Wisconsin Arts Board, with funds from the State of Wisconsin.

Performance time is 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $33 for lower balcony and $28 for upper balcony seating. For more information, contact the Viterbo University box office at 608-796-3100 or
