VITERBO SCHOOL OF NURSING 40TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION ONE OF THE MANY HIGHLIGHTS OF ALUMNI WEEKEND 2007

LA CROSSE, Wis. – Viterbo University and St. Francis School of Nursing alumni are invited to return to their alma mater for the Viterbo University School of Nursing 40th Anniversary Celebration Sunday, Oct. 7 beginning at 10 a.m. in the Fine Arts Center lobby. It should be quite a gathering, as Viterbo University has one of the largest nursing programs in the state, with over 3,000 graduates.

The event will feature a 10 a.m. brunch and program, which will include a Viterbo history through the decades DVD presentation, and student, alumni, and faculty speakers. Tours of Brophy Nursing Center and a look into the future of nursing will also be included in the celebration.

“I invite all Viterbo nursing alumni to participate in this special celebration of the 40th anniversary of the founding of our nursing program,” said Silvana Richardson, dean of the Viterbo School of Nursing. “Connect with fellow alumni, current and former faculty, and students at Viterbo Alumni Weekend. Come share memories and dreams.”

The School of Nursing celebration is part of the larger Viterbo Alumni Weekend event Friday, Oct. 5–Sunday, Oct. 7. For more information on alumni weekend, contact Jen Roberdeau, Viterbo director of alumni relations, at 608-796-3072 or jaroberdeau@viterbo.edu or visit www.viterbo.edu/alumni.aspx?id=25752.
