NORTH CAROLINA DANCE THEATRE TO PRESENT UNDER SOUTHERN SKIES AT VITERBO UNIVERSITY MARCH 25
LA CROSSE, Wis. – The internationally acclaimed North Carolina Dance Theatre will celebrate the music and artists of the South as they present Under Southern Skies at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, March 25 in the Fine Arts Center Main Theatre.
Under Southern Skies includes live music performed by the Greasy Beans and the music of singer/songwriter Christine Kane. Under Southern Skies pushes the boundaries of ballet with its energetic and contemporary choreography. Influenced by traditional dance from the foothills of North Carolina, this work will have audiences smiling, toe-tapping, and clapping along with the music.
North Carolina Dance Theatre maintains its tradition of excellence with its outstanding performances and the remarkable talent and development of their dancers. This performance is part of Viterbo University’s Bright Star season and is sponsored by James G. Birnbaum Attorney-at-Law and CenturyTel.
