CAMELOT COMES TO VITERBO UNIVERSITY NOVEMBER 2

LA CROSSE, Wis. – The classic love triangle of King Arthur, Lancelot, and Guenevere is back in the gorgeous musical comedy Camelot at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2 in the Viterbo University Fine Arts Center Main Theatre.

Filled with memorable songs, such as Camelot, If Ever I Would Leave You, and How to Handle a Woman, this production by Mainstage Artists Management will move and inspire audiences with Camelot’s ideals. Mainstage Artists Management of St. Louis has presented over 75 nationally touring theatrical productions since its founding in 1978.

To establish peace and stability in his kingdom, Arthur creates the famed Knights of the Round Table, who will dedicate their lives to righting the injustices done to the less fortunate. Sir Lancelot becomes Arthur’s best friend, but unintentionally falls in love with Arthur’s wife Guenevere, and she with him. When the subsequent affair is exposed by Arthur’s evil illegitimate son, war erupts.

Camelot is sponsored by WIZM 1410 AM. Tickets are $34 for upper balcony seating. For more information, contact the Viterbo University box office at 608-796-3100 or www.viterbo.edu/finearts1.aspx.
