“SOLIDARITY AND COMMUNION IN A GLOBALIZED WORLD” AT VITERBO UNIVERSITY OCTOBER 16

LA CROSSE, Wis. – Lina Boff, a professor at Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, will present “Solidarity and Communion in a Globalized World” in Viterbo University’s Reinhart Center 127 at 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 16.

Based on her personal experience, Boff’s presentation will explore topics such as what solidarity means, why solidarity is needed, and why solidarity is needed in a global world with critical social, environmental, and economic issues to address. A question and answer session will follow her presentation.

Boff is a Servite sister, who works as a professor, lecturer, and author. She gives workshops in Brazil and internationally.

The event is free and open to the public. No reservations are required, but seating is limited. This presentation is the third installment in the D.B. Reinhart Institute for Ethics in Leadership’s fall lecture series.
