The Viterbo community is invited to attend the fifth annual Welcome Back Bash from 1–3:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 3 in the Mathy Center. The event features more than 100 booths from area businesses, volunteer organizations, and campus departments.
Parking lots J and M will be closed Thursday, Sept. 3 for vendor parking for the Welcome Back Bash in the Mathy Center.
Employees and students are asked to update their emergency text message and emergency contact information for the 2015 fall semester by Friday, Sept. 25. The emergency text message system notifies Viterbo students and employees via cell phone text messages in the case of campus wide emergencies, while the emergency contact information will help Viterbo officials notify a family or friend in case of an emergency to you. This information can be updated online via Vitnet at: http://vitnet.viterbo.edu. Students should click on Emergency Contact under the Academic Profile section. Einstein’s Bros. Bagels will begin Saturday hours from 8 a.m.–1 p.m. with a full menu on Saturday, Sept. 5 to accommodate weekend students. Faculty are asked to share this information with weekend and commuter students.
Are you interested in joining the Viterbo Dance Team? Plan to attend the Viterbo Dance Team Social Thursday, Sept. 3 in the Fine Arts Center Hospitality Suite (room 114) any time from 5–7 p.m. Current dance team members would like to get to know any dancers, incoming or upperclassmen, who are interested in joining the team. The Intramural Extravaganza will be Wednesday, Sept. 9 from 7–9 p.m. Stop by to check out and play some of the intramurals that will be offered this semester. There will be events in the Mathy Center, Assisi Courtyard, and Marian Courtyard.
There will be a Hogwild Softball Tournament Saturday, Sept. 12 at Powell Park. The tournament is free and open to Viterbo University and Western Technical College students. Register by Thursday, Sept. 10.
