The performance by Lula Washington Dance Theatre, which was scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29 in the Viterbo University Fine Arts Center Main Theatre, has been postponed due to the extremely cold weather.
Celebrate the bombastic 1980s with the rock music anthems of the decade as the 10th anniversary tour of Rock of Ages comes to the Viterbo University Fine Arts Center Main Theatre at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6.

Congratulations to Viterbo student Jordenne Butler, who was named the new Miss LaCrosse Oktoberfest Saturday night at the Viterbo Fine Arts Center. She will compete in the Miss Wisconsin scholarship program in June.

 

The Student Dietetics Association will be selling tickets today for the annual SDA Spaghetti Dinner in the second floor Murphy Center Lobby from 11 a.m.–1 p.m. Student tickets are $10 with cash, check, and Venmo options for payment. Parking Notice: Reminder that marked spaces in Lot I (Reinhart Center Jackson Street) are for campus guests only and a special permit is required to park there. Visitors and guests can receive parking passes at the Skogen Family Welcome Center desk. Employee and student parking passes do not suffice to park in these designated spots. For handicap parking in commuter lots, the vehicle either needs a commuter permit and a DOT handicap tag, or a temporary handicap permit issued by admissions. Any violators will be ticketed.

Volunteers are needed to help with the Seconnd Annual Career, Internship, and Graduate School Fair Thursday, Sept. 26. Various shifts are available from 9 a.m.–4:30 p.m., averaging one hour each. Sept.16–20 is Suicide Prevention Week. Pain isn’t always obvious but suicide is preventable. Learn how to recognize the signs and respond to help someone who is in crisis. Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) is a practical and proven method to reduce suicidal behaviors and save lives. Sign up today for this free suicide prevention training offered through Counseling Services on Thursday, Sept. 19 from noon–1 p.m. in the School of Nursing Building 203.
