Internship Awareness Week:  There will be several events on campus Nov. 6–13 to highlight the value of doing an internship. Some summer and fall interns will have posters on display in the Dahl School of Business and the Murphy Center Lobby all week.  Stop by to see about their internships. Other interns will do presentations in class. There will be an Internship and Grant Information Session, Monday, Nov. 10 at 12:15 p.m. in Brophy Center room 201 and again on Thursday, Nov. 13 at 12:30 p.m. in Brophy Center room 203. On Thursday, Nov. 13 at 9:30 a.m. in the Fine Arts Center room 203, senior management student Paige Ermer will share information and the benefits about her internship at Walt Disney in Florida. Information Session for Spring Break 2015 Service Trips for Students and Faculty/Administrator Chaperones: Celebrate the 125th anniversary of Viterbo University and help Viterbo University reach 125,000 hours of service. There will be an information session for the March 9–13, 2015 spring break service trips at 6 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 10, in Brophy Center room 123. One service trip is to the Cheyenne River Youth Project on the Cheyenne River [Lakota] Reservation that is part of VUSM 340–The Lakota of the Great Plains history class offered in the spring semester. Campus Ministry is sponsoring a second service trip to Cincinnati, Ohio, working with the Franciscan Sisters of the Poor. There are a variety of service experiences, including maintenance work, and serving diverse populations in homeless shelters, nursing homes, and soup kitchens. If you are a faculty or administrator interested in serving as a chaperone, please attend.
