No ID Is Required to Vote in today’s Election. Call 1-866-OUR-VOTE if you have any problems. You can find your polling place by clicking here: Bring a proof of residence document with your name and current address. You can also show it to the poll worker on your smart phone, tablet, or laptop. Common proof of residence documents are: (a) a current and valid Wisconsin driver’s license or ID card; (b) any other official ID card or license issued by a Wisconsin governmental body or unit; (c)  any government document or check including federal and state benefits or social services notices, benefits statements, etc.; (d) a university, college, or technical college photo ID card ONLY if the voter provides a tuition fee receipt from the last nine months or an enrollment verification letter; (e) federal student loan correspondence and notices: (f) a gas, electric, water, landline or cell phone, Internet, or cable utility bill for a period beginning no earlier than 90 days before Election Day; (g) an employer photo ID, not including a business card, with a current address; Bank or credit union statement; or (h) Paycheck. This is your campus, your community, your state, and your country. The Student Help Office is going mobile Wednesday, Nov. 5 at Brophy Center Lounge from noon–2 p.m. Hang out at the lounge, learn more about our services, and get a well-deserved study snack.

Viterbo Student Nurses Association Meeting, Wednesday, Nov. 5 at 7 p.m., School of Nursing Building Collins Auditorium. A flight nurse from Gundersen Health System will speak about her experiences. Veterans Day Roll Call – If you or a loved one has served in the US Armed Forces and would like to be included in the 2014 Viterbo Veterans Day Ceremony submit their name, rank, and branch of service to with rollcall in the subject line. The roll call will be read aloud during the Veterans Day Ceremony on Nov. 11 at 11 a.m., Assisi Courtyard in front of the flagpole by Brophy Center. Submit names no later than Saturday, Nov. 8 to be included in the ceremony.

Orders are being taken for the annual Student Dietetics Association Apple Pie Fundraiser. Available are a traditional double crust apple pie and a caramel apple pie, both which use fresh apples from the local Southwind Orchards. Click for the order form.  Orders are due Friday, Nov. 14. Pies will be available for pick-up on Monday, Nov. 24 and Tuesday, Nov. 25.

Employees: Interviewers are needed for the Speed Mock Interview Event, designed for students to practice interviews in an educational setting. The event is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 11 from 5:30­­8 p.m. Food, refreshments, prizes, and great networking opportunities. Battle of the Birds: A coin collection contest between Viterbo, UW-L, and SMU is going on now and ends Tuesday, Nov. 25. Proceeds go to the La Crosse Community Thanksgiving Dinner. Jugs are available in the Mathy Center Lobby and Laura Lee’s athletics’ office in the VAC.
