5–6 p.m. Eucharistic Adoration – San Damiano Chapel

 

7 p.m. Theology on Root Beer Tap – San Damiano Chapel. The speaker is Ben Morris, who will talk about his recent trip to Standing Rock Indian Reservation and how he helped the students who travelled with him understand the theological grounding for their participation there. Free root beer floats will be served at the conclusion of the presentation. Sponsored by the Religious Studies Department.

 

7 p.m. Healthy Relationships Talk – Hawk’s Nest. With Viterbo students Monica Burt and Wyatt Cook. Learn the signs of healthy/unhealthy relationships. Snacks will be provided.

 

9 p.m. Taize Prayer – San Damiano Chapel

 

The Accounting and Finance Club will meet Thursday, Dec. 1 at 6 p.m. in Brophy Center room 124. Dar Issacson of Trust Point will present on Investing 101. Everyone welcome, you don’t need to be an accounting or finance major to attend.

 

Staff and Faculty Women’s Bible Study will not meet this Friday so that members can attend the Christian Prayer Service.

 

Volunteer Opportunity: The YMCA Dance Program is holding their annual Holiday Recital Sunday, Dec. 18. There will be two shows at 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. at Onalaska High School. They are in need of volunteers to help assist during the show directing people, handing out programs, escorting dancers to and from the stage, and keeping dancers safe and happy backstage. The Viterbo community is invited to attend the final Lunch and Learn of the semester Friday, Dec. 2 from 12:10–1:10 p.m. in the Fine Arts Center Hospitality Suite. In recognition of World AIDS Day, Laura Runchey of the AIDS Resource Center of Wisconsin will speak. Following the presentation, free confidential HIV Screening will be held in Fine Arts Center room 120 until 1:30 p.m. Registration for the Lunch and Learn is required.
