Rec Sports is looking for assistance in the planning and organization of Viterbo’s annual 5K held during Viterbo Days weekend. Areas of leadership may include securing and coordinating volunteer, registration, awards and refreshments, Course Marshall (course security, race route, etc.), sponsorships/donations, as well as race day logistics. The planning for the event begins now and work continues through the conclusion of the race. Interested individuals should expect meetings and tasks to be completed over the summer. If you have questions or are interested in helping plan and coordinate the event, email Marci Kuhrt or Amanda Meyer.

Rest in Peace: Sr. Carlene Unser passed away April 26. She taught art at Viterbo for 30 years and was one of three FSPA instrumental in designing the Fine Arts Center. Administrative assembly is sponsoring a Food for Finals for students. Four locations will be available during finals week for students to grab a snack as they study for their exams. Viterbo employees are invited to donate individually bagged treats, pre-packaged snacks, and non-refrigerated items. Monetary donations are welcome too. Monetary donations can be given to Mary Mormann in Murphy Center 510. Food donations can be dropped off at the Copy Center, the Library, outside Murphy Center 379, and the Nursing Center administrative suite. Donations will be accepted May 1–5. Freshly baked items may be dropped off in Murphy Center 379 on Monday, May 8 until 10 a.m.
