8:30–10 a.m. Advising on the Go – Murphy Center Lobby

 

9 a.m.–4 p.m. Apartment Reclaim for Current On-campus Students – Office of Residence Life. Only those currently living in the apartment may reclaim. You cannot reclaim Clare or Canticle.

 

11 a.m.–1 p.m. Social Work Club Chili Sale – School of Nursing Building Lobby. Cost is $5 and includes chili, corn bread, and a beverage. Both meat and veggie chili will be served.

 

Noon Mass – San Damiano Chapel

 

2–5 p.m. “Shared Franciscan Hearts” with the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration – Reinhart Center Board Room. The Viterbo community is invited to stop by anytime to enjoy conversations with the Sisters and an ice cream sundae bar while making care packages for local people experiencing homelessness.

 

7:30 p.m. “Liminal: Spaces Between” Art Exhibit Opening Reception – Viterbo University Gallery. Featuring the works of Viterbo students Margaret Schmitz and Hannah Oreskovich.

 

9 p.m. Taize Prayer – San Damiano Chapel

Miracle at Viterbo is having a Topper’s fundraiser today, March 8 from 4–8 p.m. Stop in the nursing building, library, or Student Union to get a flyer or print a flyer from the  “Miracle at Viterbo” Facebook page. Present the actual flyer when you order, and 20 percent of the proceeds will go to Dance Marathon for the kids and families of Children’s Miracle Network.

 

Philosophy Club will meet Thursday, March 9 at 4:30 p.m. in Murphy Center 434. Avatar the Last Airbender will be discussed. All are welcome. Contact Amber Drewek with any questions.

 

SGA outreach Thursday, March 9. Student are invited to submit concerns about campus to SGA representatives from 10–11 a.m. and 6–7 p.m. There will be a table in the Student Union outside of the bookstore.

Students, attend the presentation “Survival Skills: Getting What You Need” hosted by the Center for Student Success Thursday, March 9 from 2–3 p.m. in the Fine Arts Center Hospitality Suite. Learn about your communication style and how those difficult conversations can become easier or less damaging to your self-perception in this informational and highly interactive session.
