10:30 a.m. Liturgy Commemorating the Life of Thea Bowman, FSPA – Mary of the Angels Chapel at St. Rose Convent. The event will feature presider and homilist Fr. Maurice Nutt and music by the Viterbo Concert Choir. The Viterbo community is invited to attend.

1:25–2:20 p.m. “Cuba Today and Tomorrow” Presentation by Nora Hernandez Chavez – Reinhart Center 127. The presentation will cover U.S./Cuba relations, Cuban community priorities, and changes in the embargo, travel ban, and terror list for Cuba and the U.S. Everyone is welcome to attend.


4 p.m. Students interested in traveling to Nicaragua during Spring Break 2016 as part of an Inter-Professional Practice VUSM 300 class Informational Meeting – Murphy Center 448. Today is the deadline for nominations for this year’s Rose Awards. Make your nomination for Teacher of the Year, Employee of the Year, Advisor of the Year or the other major honors to be announced at the annual Rose Awards ceremony Thursday, April 30 at 3:30 p.m. in the Fine Arts Center Recital Hall. Final Edit and the Education Club are holding a book drive for the Erickson Boys and Girls Club. New and used copies of books appropriate for grades 3–6 may be dropped off in the designated bins in the Library, the Student Union, and the Murphy Center Lobby. Donations are welcome through May 7.
