Ninety-eight Master of Arts in Education students from Wisconsin and Iowa will be on campus next week to complete their requirements for graduation. The Viterbo community is invited to hear Nancy Frey, Professor of Educational Leadership at San Diego State University, at 9 a.m. Friday, July 10 in the Fine Arts Center Recital Hall. Frey is the recipient of the Christa McAuliffe Award for Excellence in Teacher Education from the American Association of State Colleges and Universities. She has co-authored several books on literacy.


Mathy Center strength equipment update: On Tuesday, July 14, the current strength equipment in the fitness center will be removed from the facility. The fitness center will remain open, but only the cardio equipment will be accessible. The Mathy Center will be closed Wednesday, July 15 for new strength equipment installation. Enjoy the new equipment starting Thursday, July 16.


The 2015 Viterbo Youth Softball Skills Camp will be held Monday, July 13 from 9:30 a.m.–1 p.m. at the Outdoors Athletics Complex. The camp is for softball players ages 8–14 and will focus on the fundamentals of hitting, fielding, and base running. All level of players welcome. Cost is $60.
