The music department and faculty members Diana Cataldi, voice, and Aaron Mathews, piano, will present “A Celebration of African-American Composers” at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 6 in the Fine Arts Center Recital Hall. The recital, which is free and open to the public, and will feature works by H. Leslie Adams, Margaret Bonds, Harry T. Burleigh, Jacqueline Hairston, Florence Price, R. Nathaniel Dett, Uzee Brown Jr., Valerie Capers, and Roland Hayes.


The Viterbo One-of-a-Kind Chamber Music Series will continue with “Time Capsule III” at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 8 in the Fine Arts Center Recital Hall. “Time Capsule III” will feature performances by Viterbo music faculty members Diana Cataldi, Mary Ellen Haupert, Dan Johnson-Wilmot, David Richardson, Jean Saladino, Ann Schoenecker, and Judy Stafslien. In commemoration of Viterbo’s 125th Anniversary, this year’s series features works written from 1889–1890. Wisconsin Public Radio is the media sponsor for the performance. Touchstone Call For Entries 2015: Submit your creative works to Viterbo's Arts and Literary Magazine. Artwork can be turned into the designated table in the Reinhart Center room 003 (can be un-framed for judging). Larger pieces, such as three dimensional sculptures or costume designs, can be photographed and submitted to the Touchstone at Music recordings and literary works (in Microsoft Word .doc format) can also be sent to the Touchstone email address.
