Twenty-nine outstanding high school students will be on campus today competing for $100,000 in scholarship funds at the annual Russell and Vera Smith Nightingale Nursing Scholarship Competition.

 

Today is Spirit Day Employee Jeans Day. Proceeds benefit the Staff Assembly Grant, which provides scholarships for students.

SAB “Follow the Bricks to Vic!” Scavenger Hunt: Use the daily clue to find the sticker Vic and bring him back to the Office of Resident’s Life to be entered into a drawing at the end of the week for a $30 Amazon gift card. Clue: Hint: You won’t find Dorothy and Toto here, but the story of their adventure may be near. Like home there is no place to be except for when you need a quiet space to achieve your degree.

 

Celebrate Hearth Health Week by picking up a Tour de Cardio card at the Mathy Center from the Welcome Center or Fitness Center. Fill up your card as you pass each stage for a chance to win a hammock or $25 to Amazon.com.

 

Wear Purple on Monday: Viterbo community members are invited to wear a purple or Relay for Life shirt Monday. The week of Feb 6–10 is Paint Your Campus Purple week, which is designed to raise awareness around campus about Relay for Life. Events will be happening throughout the week.
