Christmas is a time when many people volunteer their time and talents to help others. Remember to log your service hours in support of Viterbo’s 125th Anniversary goal this holiday season. http://www.viterbo.edu/125th_Celebration/125,000_Hours_of_Service/

The Student Dietetics Association has three traditional and four caramel apple pies for sale. The pies are frozen and unbaked and would be a great addition to Christmas dinner. The price of the pies is $10. Contact Eliza Short at eshort09189@viterbo.edu to place your order.

The Viterbo Athletics 2015 coupon book has arrived. The Viterbo women’s golf team is selling these coupon books, which hold over 165 coupons for golf, restaurants, beauty, car services, and entertainment. Books are $12 and make great Christmas gifts. Visit Laura’s office in athletics to purchase your book, which features many new businesses this year.

Reminder: Residence Life is seeking candidates who are interested in an RA position available for spring semester 2015. Interested candidates who are sophomore level or above and have at least a 2.5 overall GPA are asked to submit the 2015-2016 application and one recommendation by 4 p.m. today, Tuesday, Dec. 9. Interviews will take place this week. Call Vickie Unferth at 796-3841 with any questions.

The Residence Life Sustainability Committee is collecting  disposable scotch tape dispensers and plastic cores from rolls of scotch tape for a recycling project with TerraCycle. Green collection boxes are located in each academic building, on-campus apartment buildings, and the student union. TerraCycle “brigades” focus on collecting items not generally seen as recyclable but that can be made into other products. When you empty a roll of scotch tape while wrapping Christmas presents, find a box in which to drop the dispenser or core. Any funds earned from the collection will be designated for future residence life recycling projects.
