LA CROSSE, Wis. – Viterbo University’s renowned Platinum Edition show choir and special guests will present an evening of great singing and dancing with their annual variety performance Celebration 2015 at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 11 in the Fine Arts Center Main Theatre.

“The show will have energy galore,” said director of Platinum Edition and Viterbo music faculty member Nancy Allen. “It has high-stepping dance numbers and excellent singing. I’m really excited for the show. It’s going to be great.”

Celebration 2015 will feature a wide variety of music including Broadway, pop, gospel, jazz, and a Spice Girls versus the Backstreet Boys comedy number. The show will feature special performances by jazz pianist Dave Marck and Viterbo faculty member Matt Campbell, who will sing Luck Be a Lady Tonight from the musical Guys and Dolls. Tycho and Zoe de Boer will perform a father/daughter duet of Bon Jovi’s This Ain’t Love.

Guest performers will include the Coulee Kids Choir and Tonal II, a men’s a cappella group. Members of Platinum Edition and the Coulee Kids Choir will perform two dance features. Professional musicians from the La Crosse area will serve as the back-up band for the performance.

Celebration 2015 is the 16th spring show for Platinum Edition. The group is nationally known in show choir circles and has performed across the U.S. including New York, Los Angeles, Orlando, and Branson, Mo.
