VITERBO UNIVERSITY ANNOUNCES NEW ENGINEERING AND EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIPS

LA CROSSE, Wis. – Viterbo University will award up to 20 new $2,000 scholarships for students majoring in education or engineering who apply for admission by Wednesday, Nov. 1 to enroll in fall 2018.

Viterbo will award up to 10 new scholarships for each program. In addition, a one-time $1,000 For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology (FIRST) Robotics Scholarship will be competitively awarded to one student who has participated in the FIRST Robotics Competition or FIRST Tech Challenge programs in high school.

“We are committed to keeping Viterbo University as affordable as possible while at the same time promoting our excellent programs,” said Brian Weber, Viterbo director of undergraduate admission.

Viterbo’s engineering program is regionally accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association, but the university will also seek accreditation by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology, Inc. upon graduation of the first cohort of students. Upon achieving accreditation, the first graduates would be retroactively accredited.
