7–8:30 p.m. Amnesty International 4th Annual Write for Rights Campaign Event – School of Nursing Building 101. Write on behalf of 10 people from around the world who are being held for their peaceful expression of their human rights. Everyone welcome.

 

9 p.m. Taize Prayer – San Damiano Chapel

Attend  “A Funny Thing Happened to Me on the Way to Finals: Academic Enhancement and Stimulants” Thursday, Dec. 7 at 6:30 p.m. in Murphy Center 448. Hear about an individual’s experience abusing stimulants and learn mindfulness activities that will improve concentration when preparing for finals. The program is presented by faculty member Bill Bakalars and students from the Masters in Mental Health Counseling program and the ATOD task force.

 

A two-day sale is happening now at the Viterbo Bookstore. Last sale before Christmas. Check it out in store or online. Ends Thursday at night at midnight.

All Salvation Army Angel Giving Tree gifts should be dropped off to the Murphy Center Lobby Christmas tree no later than Thursday, Dec. 7. The Salvation Army will be here on Friday to pick up all the gifts. Contact Chris Sanger if you have any questions at ext. 3070 or cmsanger@viterbo.edu.

 

Applications are live for campus ministry’s 2018 Winter Break Service Trip to Port Ministries Jan. 7–12. Go to www.viterbo.edu/theport18 for more information and application. Apply before winter break. Consider providing service to the community of Chicago this winter.

 

Don’t forget to get your flu shot before leaving for break. Contact Health Services at 796-3806 or scdanielson@viterbo.edu to schedule an appointment. Cost is $7 for students and $17 for employees.
