7 p.m. Theology on (root beer) Tap “Going on Vocation: Where Passion and Purpose Meet” – San Damiano Chapel. A panel of guests will talk about vocation and purpose. Free root beer floats following the presentation. Sponsored by religious studies.

 

8 p.m. Residence Hall Association Meeting – Reinhart Center 127. Enjoy some snacks while discussing ways to improve life in the residence halls.

 

VSNA is holding its second annual "Change a Christmas.” Donate your loose change to help people in the La Crosse community. Collection boxes are located in the Student Union, School of Nursing Building, Brophy Center, Murphy Center, Einstein's, and Reinhart Center.

 

Help celebrate kindness by buying a gift for a local family. Stop by the Social Work Club tree in the Fine Arts Center for more details about donating.

 

Students: Attend Adulting 101: Taxes, 5 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 5 in the School of Nursing Building 195. Learn how to fill out the 1040EZ, pros and cons of filing as a dependent, tax credits for students, and more.

 

Administrative assembly is sponsoring a Food for Finals booth for students. Four locations will be available during finals week for students to grab a snack as they study for their exams. Viterbo employees are invited to donate individually bagged treats, pre-packaged snacks, and non-refrigerated items. Monetary donations can be sent in a sealed envelope via intra-campus mail to Mary Mormann (Murphy Center 510). Food donations can be dropped off at the Copy Center, the Library, outside Murphy Center 379, and the Nursing Center administrative suite. Donations will be accepted Dec. 4–8. Freshly baked items may be dropped off in Murphy Center 379 on Monday, Dec. 11 until 10 a.m.

 

Join the Community Wellness Club for Christmas caroling at different long-term care facilities and neighborhoods near Viterbo, Tuesday, Dec. 5 from 5–7 p.m. Meet in the School of Nursing Building 104 and after caroling return for hot chocolate and cookies.

 

Students and employees from all perspectives are invited to attend “A Civil Dialogue on Islamophobia,” an Identities Project event Wednesday, Dec. 6 from 7–8:30 p.m. in the Reinhart Center Board Room. A diverse set of panelists from the Viterbo and the La Crosse communities represent a variety of perspectives. Attend for meaningful, honest dialogue around a pressing issue. All are welcome.
