VU After Dark has a few free tickets left for students to see the Platinum Edition Show at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28 in the Fine Arts Center Main Theatre. To claim a ticket, sign up in the Hawk’s Nest.

 

The School of Nursing and Office of Admission are welcoming six high school counselors to campus today to learn more about the new grant-funded NURSES program. If you see them on campus, be sure to extend Viterbo hospitality.

On Friday, Oct, 13, Viterbo Dietetics Students will be hosting their annual pasta dinner fundraiser. The event will run from 4:30–7:30 p.m. in the School of Nursing Building 195. The cost is $12 for adults, $10 for students, and $6 for children. Tickets can still be purchased through Claire Bowar at cbowar61315@viterbo.edu or at the door.

 

United Way Campaign Volunteers: If you are interested in being a part of this year’s United Way Campaign Committee, contact Heather Butterfield at hmbutterfield@viterbo.edu

 

Submissions are still being accepted for the Philosophy and Pop Culture Undergraduate Conference, Friday, Nov. 17 in the Reinhart Center Board Room. This year’s theme is Magical Realities and Fantasy Worlds. Students interested in presenting at this conference are asked to submit a short abstract (up to 500 words) and the title of their presentation to Robyn Gaier at rrgaier@viterbo.edu by Monday, Oct. 16. All students are welcome to participate. The conference will be free and open to the public.

 

October Service Saturday is being held in collaboration with WTC and UW-L for Make a Difference Day Saturday, Oct 14. Check in is from 9–9:30 a.m. at Weigent Park, followed by volunteering from 10 a.m.–1 p.m. Afterward, return to the park for food and games/prizes. Click to register.
