Opera Performance Workshop: July 16-20
The Viterbo University Opera Performance Workshop is created for young singers to explore performance practices in the opera genre in a true learning environment. High school juniors and seniors, along with undergraduates, will be given the opportunity to participate in a selected opera scene with a final public performance on the last day of the workshop. Singers will participate in daily musical and staging rehearsals in addition to classes in acting and movement, and will have the option to take private voice lessons with university faculty. Singers interested in a vocal performance career will find this workshop to be a great asset in their operatic training.
