Music alum Katelyn Bouska (2008) will open this program with two sonatas for harpsichord by Georg Anton Benda, and follow with piano solo works by Leoš Janácek, Frédéric Chopin, and Petr Eben. As a doctoral student at Temple University in Philadelphia, Katelyn Bouska is an active solo and collaborative performer on both historical and modern keyboard instruments. In addition to her performances in the United States, she has had opportunities to perform in Canada, France, Italy, Austria, and the Philippines. She holds a bachelor of music performance degree from Viterbo University and master degrees in piano and harpsichord performance, as well as the Professional Studies Certificate from Temple University.
