Curriculum
BSN to DNP
The curriculum for BSN to DNP is a variable credit program offering core courses and a choice of two tracks that prepare graduates for a selected role and population foci in primary care: Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner or Family
Nurse Practitioner (Lifespan). The degree can be accomplished in four years of study with six credits considered full time; however more credits are needed to complete within this time period. Total credits & clinical hours needed for graduation vary according to choice of tracks. Classes are normally scheduled online or one day a week face to face. Clinical practicums require additional time and can be done in the student's own location if possible. Partially online courses reduce the number of campus visits necessary each semester. Part-time options may be possible.
The curriculum will prepare graduates for advanced nursing roles that enhance the standard of practice in a variety of settings.
MSN to DNP
The curriculum for MSN to DNP is a 30 credit program normally completed in two academic years and two summer terms, with an allowance for taking 3 years to complete the program if needed. At this time, Nurse Practitioners only are being accepted into this program.

- The North Central Commission on Higher Education
- Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (MSN level)
- Accreditation procedures for the DNP program will begin at the program's inception and is expected prior to the first students' completion of the DNP program.
