Teachers will define and refine their own philosophical perspectives as they relate to the “big issues” currently driving educational thought,  policies and structures.  Students will be required to “stretch” themselves creatively and through thoughtful analysis and introspection of the major issues and trends currently impacting on their efficacy as teachers and their students’ opportunities to maximize their potentials.  Specific topics include: personal philosophy, school reform, change, leading from within, knowledge vs.  understanding and spirituality.
