DEVELOPMENTAL ASSETS: CRITICAL INGREDIENTS NEEDED SO YOUR STUDENTS AND YOUR OWN CHILDREN CAN LIVE A HAPPY, HEALTHY, AND SUCCESSFUL LIFE (K–12)
This class identifies the 40 developmental assets (personal strengths, personality traits, and the necessary building blocks) that dramatically increase a child’s opportunity to live a happy, healthy, and successful life. Participants will not only understand assets, but they will be able to identify specific ways to incorporate them into their parenting, classroom environment, curriculum, and/or style of teaching. Part of the class, participants will develop a plan that will promote developmental assets and have ways to implement asset building within their school district, home, classroom, community, and/or congre17gation. Educators will leave with a whole new positive outlook on dealing with the issues of our children. The course is very practical, interactive, and hands-on. Attend and truly understand how to engage children so they get the three most important gifts for their life. Bring a laptop if you have one available.
