The Master of Business Administration

The mission of the Dahl School of Business' MBA program is to develop an influential network of informed, ethical, and effective leaders who are committed to making a positive impact on organizations, the community, and the world.  

Our MBA program is fully accredited by the ACBSP and embraces talented students with diverse academic and professional backgrounds. Non-business majors can prepare for our MBA program through convenient, one-credit, online prerequisite “boot camps”. 

Viterbo MBA students are: 

• Accomplished professionals with diverse backgrounds
• Executive-level leaders focused on developing themselves and their organizations to be everything they can be
• Managers hoping to broaden their horizons and accelerate their careers
• Young professionals looking to expand their networks and shape their careers to truly make a difference

We offer two distinct MBA programs to best meet the needs of each of our students: 1)  a professional, two-year evening program that meets one evening per week and 2) an accelerated, daytime One-Year program that includes a 4+1 format specifically designed for current undergraduate students. Please see the course schedule for the next evening MBA class that begins in Spring 2012.  Please see our One-Year MBA for a full description of our accelerated, daytime program for students or professionals who are looking to continue their education in a fulltime, daytime format or our 4+1 MBA program if you are an undergraduate student looking to continue on for a graduate business degree.

Our MBA programs prepare students for advanced business roles in which they will: 

• Utilize appropriate personal and interpersonal skills and tools for the practice of effective ethical leadership of self, team, and community. 

• Resolve personal and professional issues through sound ethical reasoning and developed interpersonal skills
• Use critical and integrative thinking along with appropriate technical and quantitative tools to identify and solve complex business problems
• Communicate with a high level of professionalism
• Initiate practices of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainability within the global business environment
