1999: -Served as a scientist mentor as part of the Center for Excellence in Research, Teaching, and Learning (CERTL), which is a collaborative partnership between Jefferson County Public Schools and the University of Louisville. The program assists urban school systems with significant numbers of students living below Federal poverty levels and with large minority student enrollments.
