Scholarship Opportunities for Prospective Science, Math, and Pre-Health Students
Health Science Scholarship Competition
The Natural Sciences and Mathematics Division is offering a four-year, full-tuition scholarship, currently valued at approximately $91,000, to a deserving student intending to pursue a career in a health science area. A total of $183,000 will be awarded among other finalists in the competition. All students chosen for the Health Science Competition (28 total) will receive a minimum of a $2,000 scholarship (over four years) in addition to their academic scholarship.
CLASS Scholarship
Viterbo University has been awarded a $600,000 NSF grant to provide scholarships for select incoming students pursuing degrees in chemistry, biochemistry, and mathematical physics. These funds will be used to create a community of NSF CLASS (Community of Learners Achieving Science Success) scholars. Twelve incoming students in fall 2013 will be awarded scholarships of $5,425 per year (up to $21,700 over four years). Students who receive this scholarship are also eligible for the Viterbo Merit Scholarships. Applications will be reviewed starting February 22, 2013, and we will continue until all 12 spots are filled.
Viterbo Merit Scholarships - up to $13,000 per year based on ACT and high school GPA
Degree in Three Program
Ten high achieving students can earn their biology degree in three years. These students save a year's tuition and are eligible to apply to graduate schools a year sooner. Students must have a minimum 3.5 GPA and 25 ACT to apply.
