Biotechnology Certificate

The goal of the biotechnology certificate program at Viterbo University is to provide biology and chemistry students who choose the program an opportunity to graduate with the knowledge and skills they will need for jobs utilizing biotechnology or to continue their education in graduate school in an area related to biotechnology. Requirements:

  • 3 S.H. BIOL 381, Comparative Bioinformatics
  • 4 S.H. BIOL 430, Molecular Genetics
  • 8 S.H. CHEM 120, 121, General Chemistry
  • 8 S.H. CHEM 240, 340, Organic Chemistry
  • 4 S.H. CHEM 330, Analytical Chemistry (recommended)
