-- Your final course grade will be determined using the following weights:
40% ModuMath Computer Scores (35% Algebra; 5% Arithmetic)
45% In-Class Tests/Quizzes and Out-of-Class Homework
15% Final Cumulative Exam
NOTE: It is advantageous to study the lessons before attempting the tests since there is a 5-point penalty each time you attempt a test and fail to demonstrate competency.

A 93-100 C 70-75
AB 88-92 CD 64-69
B 82-87 D 60-63

*A grade of a C or higher must be earned to take any other math courses at Viterbo.
Attendance:
Attendance will be kept regularly. There will be no penalty for absences until a student misses four classes. At that time, the final grade will be lowered a half-grade. Thereafter, every two unexcused absences will result in a drop of another half-grade. If you know in advance you will miss a class, please inform me prior to the absence.
Make-up Work
-Homework may be turned in late; points will be deducted for tardiness.
-Missed quizzes may not be made up; the grade will be a zero.
-Missed exams may be made up; the student will receive half the total score.
Note: Exception in which a student may receive full credit for a missed exam occurs if the instructor and student make alternative arrangements prior to the exam being given.
