Dr. Richard Kyte holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy from The Johns Hopkins University. Rick joined Viterbo University in 2000. Graduate courses taught include Ethical Decision Making for the Common Good, Building Community, Stewardship, Wisdom and Leadership, and Interpersonal and Organizational Excellence. Rick's favorite to teach Stewardship, which incorporates a field trip to the Aldo Leopold Legacy Center in Baraboo, Wisconsin to learn about Wisconsin’s environmental heritage. Fun facts about Rick are his hobbies of fly-fishing for trout, duck hunting, woodworking, and writing. Rick has published  the books An Ethical Life; Ideas Unite, Issues Divide; and Ethical Business. Research Interests of Rick are how the great ideas of the past—about love, goodness, friendship, and grace—can help us live better lives and improve our communities.
