What are the requirements for the program?
This is an nine hour program: you must have or be working on a Masters degree and complete the degree before the certification can be granted. You must have an Iowa reading endorsement 149 or 149 and have successfully completed two full years of teaching.
How long do I have to complete this program?
You have seven years to complete this program upon date of acceptance.

You need to fill out the online application at www.viterbo.edu/applyonline and check 176 Iowa Reading Specialist.
Is financial aid available?
FAFSA based financial aid is not available.
What is the cost?
Starting September 2012 the courses are $310 per credit hour.
