How to Apply

- $50 nonrefundable application fee. This fee is waived if you have applied for or are enrolled in the Viterbo University Master of Arts in Education degree program. You may submit your application fee online.
- Request official copies of transcripts from all colleges and universities attended (transcripts must be mailed directly from each school.) Transcripts marked "issued to student" will not be accepted. This transcript request form may be used. Transcripts must indicate a master's degree has been obtained. If not, the student must enroll in Viterbo University's Master of Arts in Education degree in order to enroll in the Reading Specialist Program.
- Copy of teaching license
- Completed promissory note
If you believe you have taken a course that is a close match to one of the required Viterbo University courses, please include a letter with your application indicating the course number, institution, and brief rationale.
Upon completion of the on-line application, official transcripts, copy of teaching license, and $50 (if not paid online) must be mailed to: Viterbo University, Attn: Graduate Education Program, 4949 Westown Parkway Suite 195, West Des Moines, IA 50266.
