The skills necessary for ethical practice from engagement to assessment in the planned change process are defined, modeled, rehearsed, and evaluated. Practice skills sensitive to the needs of diverse and vulnerable populations are learned and practiced in an actual interview. The course includes a structured lab with recorded interviews, instructor, and peer evaluations. Prerequisites: 210 or SOCL 210, admission to the social work program.
