Digital history is about creating new and interactive ways for people to experience history; it also provide new methodologies and ways to assess historical problems. Viterbo's history program and the School of Humanities is bringing these innovative tools and methodologies into our programs and classrooms. With this approach, students are given the opportunity to not only explore historical subject matter, but will also discover new methods to present their material. This field is essential to practice of public history, archival work. These skill also prepare students for a wide range of fields outside the history profession.
