Viterbo University is a Franciscan run institution located in La Crosse, Wis. Major highways into La Crosse are Interstate 90, and Hwy 53. Driving time is about 3 hours to Minneapolis, and about 2 3/4 hours to Madison, the state capital. Current enrollment is 1,700 students.

Staffing

The Fine Arts Center is staffed with primarily student labor. For larger events an I.A.T.S.E. Crew augments the staff. The Fine Arts Center is a Drug and Alcohol Free Work place. Smoking is prohibited inside all campus buildings.

Loading and Parking

Loading and Parking areas are on Jackson St., between 9th and 10th Streets. There is a loading door into the Scene Shop, which is a straight run onto main stage. There is a single space loading dock located on 9th Street. There is a dock leveler, but no ramp or forklift. Cargo, because of the parking lot configuration, is unloaded at 90 degrees to the door. Parking in the lot is by permit only - please convey your individual parking needs (bus, automobiles, trucks) ASAP. 208v shore power hookup is available.

Auditorium and Seating 

The Auditorium consists of a Main Floor, with seating for 519, raked at 9" intervals. The First Balcony, with seats of 200, and the Second Balcony with 380 seats, were originally designed to be closed off sequentially by mechanically lowered ceiling panels. Wheel Chair seating is limited to 3 seats on the Main Floor and 5 seats in the lower balcony. Additional seating in the orchestra pit area adds 31 seats.
