Ethical Reasoning and Moral Wisdom

In this seminar students will consider ethical values, both their own and those of others, in multiple contexts to assess the values involved in living a good life. Students will learn about the practice of moral analysis, examine many influential moral theories, look at many contemporary moral debates in applied ethics, and consider the relevancy of ethics across disciplines Students may not earn credit for more than one VUSM course at the 400 level. Prerequisite: any LDW and SCG course or transfer student placement, WCII course. TEL
