Flooding/Failed Plumbing or Power Outage

Flooding, Failed Plumbing 

1. Cease using all electrical equipment.
2. Avoid contact with the water.
3. Evacuate the building.
4. Provide assistance to those with disabilities/special needs. If assistance is not possible, provide their location to emergency ­responders.
5. Contact physical plant at 608-796-3920.
6. Call campus safety at 3911 if using a ­Viterbo phone; 608-796-3911 or 608-780-1582 if using a non-Viterbo phone.

Power Outage

1. Call 911.
2. Call campus safety at 3911 if using a ­Viterbo phone; 608-796-3911 or 608-780-1582 if using a non-Viterbo phone.
3. Evacuate the building if the fire alarm sounds or upon instruction by ­authorized emergency personnel.
4. Provide assistance to those with ­disabilities/special needs and/or provide their location to emergency responders.
5. In buildings with laboratories, fume hoods do not ­operate during a power outage and laboratories should not be used.
