The Dahl School of Business Faculty

The hallmark of the Dahl School of Business (DSOB) faculty is dedication. DSOB faculty are dedicated to being student-centered and to providing excellence both inside and outside the classroom. In the classroom, professors engage their students in vigorous discussions through use of active learning activities. Our small class sizes (average is 17 students) allow professors the flexibility to use a variety of teaching methods, including case discussions, student presentations, business simulations, etc. Outside the classroom, faculty members are accessible to students during regularly scheduled office hours and by acting as the students' academic and professional advisors. DSOB faculty also keep abreast of their disciplines by engaging in research and publication as well as being involved in the local business community. Because the vast majority of the DSOB faculty have worked in the area of their teaching, they are in a good position to offer valuable career advice as well.
