All Dahl School of Bussiness students are advised by their business faculty. Students are, for the most part, assigned to faculty based on their area of major (e.g., an accounting major is assigned to an accounting professor). Academic advising starts the first day of classes in the Dahl School of Business and includes, but is not limited to, course selection, career exploration, graduate school investigation, and support of educational goals.
Because the vast majority of the DSOB faculty have worked in the area of their teaching, they are in a good position to offer valuable career advice as well as academic advice. Students are required to meet with faculty advisor at least twice a year but are encouraged to do so more often. Students receive the personal attention they need and deserve!
