  • Master of Business Administration
  • Accounting
  • Management and Leadership
  • Marketing
  • Sport Management and Leadership
  • Organizational Management
  • Management Information Systems

The ACBSP is a leading specialized accreditation association for business education — supporting, celebrating, and rewarding teaching excellence.

  • ACBSP promotes continuous improvement and recognizes excellence in the accreditation of business education programs around the world.

  • ACBSP acknowledges the importance of scholarly research and inquiry and believes that such activities facilitate improved teaching. ACBSP encourages faculty involvement within the contemporary business world to enhance the quality of classroom instruction and to contribute to student learning.

  • ACBSP offers an accreditation process uniquely focused on teaching excellence and student outcomes. And because the council believes ACBSP success is driven by the success of its members, ACBSP officers and members align those programs and the accreditation process to meet the individual needs of each member.

In alignment with the values of the Dahl School of Business and the liberal arts tradition of Viterbo University, the ACBSP's philosophy of accreditation embraces the virtues of teaching excellence and emphasizes to students that it is essential to learn how to learn. ACBSP acknowledges the importance of scholarly research and encourages institutions to pursue a reasonable mutually beneficial balance between teaching and research. Further, ACBSP encourages faculty involvement within the contemporary business world to enhance the quality of classroom instruction and to contribute to student learning.

The following three new programs are “pending ACBSP accreditation,” and Viterbo University is seeking full accreditation of these programs:

  • Business Administration
  • Finance
  • Health Care and Wellness Management

Once full accreditation is conferred upon these new programs, the accreditation is retroactive to the start date of the programs.
