Committee Functions (rev. 3.2011)

1. To approve new and existing courses for the core curriculum 
2. To approve core curriculum  course revisions 
3. To periodically review approved core curriculum courses for  
   alignment with learning outcomes 
4. To assess students' achievement of core curriculum learning outcomes 
5. To recommend to Faculty Council modifications in the core curriculum 
6. To review the core curriculum and submit a report to the Program
   Review Committee
