What’s Happening in Student Life

By Jacob Hart

With move-in and Orientation, our first Service Saturday, the Welcome Back Bash, and all of Welcome Weeks events, we in student life are happy to have students back. Our staff, in conjunction with campus ministry, also coordinated a Flood Relief effort on Sept. 3 in which we sent over 80 students and employees to neighboring communities to assist with flood damage. We’re continuing this effort with Flood Relief Fridays and an ongoing supply drive for cleaning supplies and bottled water. Four weeks into the semester, we are well into our programming including the Identities Project, Service Saturdays, Family Day, and Flood Relief Fridays.
