The public is invited to attend the Community Drug Forum from 6–8:30 p.m. Monday, May 15 at Stoney Creek Inn in Onalaska.
The event is for parents, family members, students, caregivers, health professionals, business leaders, mental health professionals, counselors, and others. Registration is encouraged (but not required) at 608-785-9872 or email@example.com.
Participants will learn about current efforts going on in La Crosse County to prevent illicit drug problems. These community efforts include the Heroin and Other Illicit Drug Task Force, La Crosse County Prevention Network, law enforcement, treatment and counseling, and a wide range of other services that are available. The main theme will focus on heroin, opioids (pain medications) and other prescription drug misuse, marijuana and meth. However, information available will appeal to a wide range of illicit drug addiction.
