Send Us Your Ideas
News to Share with the Greater La Crosse Community: Don't second-guess the newsworthiness of events—large or small—in your department, office, or organization. It's better to suggest items that may be newsworthy than to let opportunities slip away. The more story ideas we get, the more chances we have of getting positive exposure for our programs and services in the press. Remember that communications and marketing staff cannot control what gets printed in the newspaper or aired on television. We do our best to make appeals in a timely fashion and ensure that what we submit to the press is newsworthy, but the choice of whether or not to pursue a story is in the hands of the media.

News to Share with the Viterbo Community: We evaluate all news information by what interest it might hold for readers outside of the Viterbo community, but distributing news within our community is also very important. The university benefits from human-interest features and personal stories about the people in our community. To share your news with the Viterbo community, submit it to the employee newsletter, Connections, published on a weekly basis throughout the academic year. The copy deadline for each Monday issue is at 4 p.m. Wednesday.
