Details and Logistics
The Certificate in Nonprofit Leadership Development (CNLD) consists of nine workshops. Each workshop will take place on the second Thursday of each month, September through May, from 7:45 to 11:30 a.m. in Room 123 of the Dahl School of Business on the Viterbo University Campus. To receive the CNLD, participants will need to attend the first and last session and at least five sessions in between (for a total of at least 7 of the 9 sessions). Participants are encouraged to attend all nine workshops.
Each workshop will be facilitated by two or more experienced nonprofit board members - dedicated, hard working volunteers who have worked in the nonprofit trenches, experienced working through the issues on more than one occasion, often learning the hard way. Facilitators will be versed in the best practices in our local community as well as the larger nonprofit regional community. They are ready to share the lessons they learned over the years to enhance the capacity of our community’s nonprofits.
Participants will receive a three-ring binder full of nonprofit resources which will serve as the reading assignments for the workshops. The resources will be relevant and immediately applicable to your nonprofit work. This binder will be a great resource as you continue to serve the nonprofit community in the years to come.
Your cost for the entire series of workshops is only $169/person. Originally priced at over $450 per participant, our fee structure is so affordable as a result of the generous support of the La Crosse Community Foundation and Viterbo University.
The certificate series will be capped at 35 participants each year. Apply now to guarantee your spot in this year's certificate program.
