College Level Examination Program (CLEP)
CLEP Exams enable students to earn college credit by examination.
After Feb 28, 2013, CLEP exams are scheduled
individually at your convenience between 7 a.m and must be completed by 5 p.m.
Monday through Fridays.
A minimum of one week prior notice must be provided Requests will be accommodated based on availability.

CLEP exams are administered only to Viterbo students.

Students can register for up to two exams for the test date. Students must be currently enrolled at Viterbo. However, students planning to enroll next term may take the exam now and credit will be awarded in the subsequent semester. CLEP exams consist of a 90-minute multiple choice objective tests. Students taking any English exam are required to take a separate 90-minute essay section. Thus, only one English exam can be taken in a day. Students are required to pre-register by 4 p.m., one week prior to the exam. A completed Pre-Registration Form should be sent to Jane Eddy. At the time of the exam, students are required to pay $80 by credit card online to the College Board. The total cost for each exam is $80.
